The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic field narrowed to two teams on WWE NXT Tuesday. Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar knocked off The Vanity Project, while Hank Walker and Tank Ledger beat El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno.
The results put Moreno and Dar opposite Hank and Tank in the tournament final. In other action, Jackson Drake retained the NXT North American Championship against EK Prosper, and Chantel Monroe defeated Lizzy Rain.
The semifinal outcomes reshaped the tag-team picture heading into the next installment of NXT. The tournament final will decide which duo claims this year’s Dusty Cup.
